Allan is a seasoned professional in the banking industry, with a rich background spanning over 15 years dedicated to aiding business owners and their ventures in both the commercial and small business sectors. His extensive experience encompasses leading transactions worth over $500 million, with an average deal size of $5 million, translating to a total of 100 to 150 successful deals throughout his fifteen-year tenure.

Moreover, Allan's expertise is not limited to transactional achievements; he is recognized as a subject matter expert in the commercial banking field. His remarkable contribution to the banking sector includes playing a pivotal role in the exponential growth of a commercial bank, which saw an astounding increase from $100 million to $4.5 billion in assets within a mere four-year span. This phenomenal growth trajectory positioned the bank as one of the fastest-growing in the U.S. at its peak.


Extensive experience raising both equity and debt capital in both banking and technology. Led and participated in several successful capital raises for a startup bank and part of a team that raised ~$350MM in equity to support the growth and liquidity plans for the bank. Allan has the expertise and contacts to support raising capital in the banking and technology verticals specifically.

Allan has extensive experience driving revenue using Fintech as an enabler, specifically in commercial lending and B2B payments. Having worked inside community and regional banks for 20+ years Allan has the experience to recognize banks have unique needs as they are dealing with legacy technology and infrastructure, yet trying to leverage data and deliver products and services the communities they serve. Additionally, Allan has extensive subject matter expertise in helping banks evaluate strategy and develop  the right architecture, data strategy and product strategy to be successful with those business strategies. Allan developed this expertise having played a leading role in developing the infrastructure inside of a startup commercial bank over the course of four years as the bank grew rapidly.

Technology Transformation


5+ years in fintech with startup and founder experience. Allan developed this experience by co-founding a startup payments company called PaidUp (sold in 2019), which provided an outsourced accounts receivable platform helping collect money that had historically gone  uncollected.

The internet, software, and technology are so pervasive that we can’t remember having ever lived without them. They make our lives simpler, but behind the curtain are fluctuating challenges in protection and monetization; challenges that our firm stays two steps ahead of. Allan has extensive contract negotiation experience having negotiated significant (often high six and seven figure, multi-year contracts) technology contracts on behalf of a commercial bank. The experience gained allowed Allan to develop strategies with respect to contract negotiation that allow a company to meet their strategic business goals, while still striking a fair balance with the vendor. Allan has a keen understanding of the risks associated with long term contracts from a business continuity, duration and data security perspective.
